Archival ink print on acid free velum fine art paper.
The original pieces of artworks were created using relief printing. A process where ink was applied to real slices of wood that would then be pressed into paper and leave behind the detailed image of the rings. After letting the ink dry I would use either acrylic paint or watercolor or a combination of the two to create scenes over the wood-cookie’s relief.
A tree's life is recorded in its rings similar to how we might record our lives in a diary. The Treeline Memory series aims to imagine and bring to reality what a tree’s life might have once been like.
Each print comes with your choice of a white or black mat, board backing and is sealed in a protective sleeve.
All mat sizes are cut to fit in common frame sizes that you can find in most home-goods stores.
