Do you take commissions?
Yes! I am currently taking commissions! You will need to reach out to me so we can discuss the design, sizing, timelines, and pricing.
Do you make tattoo designs?
No, not at the moment. However, if you see one of my art pieces you’d like to use as inspiration I just ask that you tag me on social media @_katelyn_wells_
How long will it take before I receive my order?
Processing time can take anywhere from 1-3 days. And shipping could take another 1-8 business days or longer depending on the location your order is being shipped to. I ask that you keep these time frames in mind when ordering. However, I also understand life happens! So if you need the order to be rushed reach out to me and we can discuss possible solutions!
Can I buy original artwork online?
Most of my originals are either commissions or will go straight to a gallery. If there is an original piece that you see listed here or on my Instagram page that you would like to purchase just reach out to me and I can put you in contact with the gallery selling the piece (just as long as it is still available).
How long do your original paintings take to make?
A long time… I pride myself in the fact that my paintings are highly detailed, however, this means that they take a while to produce. Depending on the size each piece could take anywhere from several weeks to months to make. So if you are looking to purchase an original as a gift for someone make sure to contact me several months before the date you need it by!
I see a print I like but I want it in a larger sizes that’s not already available, would that be possible?
The short answer is, yes. However, it would take extra time for you to receive your print. This could be anywhere from 2-3 weeks longer because of the 2 step process it takes to make the prints.
Do you sell digital files of your work, or the license/copyright to your work?
Currently I don’t but maybe in the future.
Why does the gold foil look different on some of the print’s sizes?
My printing process is done in two parts 1. Print 2. Foil. It is difficult to achieve the same level of detail in the smaller prints so I modify the designs in order to compensate for this when adding the foiling. I try to keep it as close to the original painting as possible but that isn’t always an option with how small some of the foiling details gets. I am still constantly working to perfect this process by making it more efficient and with the best results possible!
Is the gold and silver real?
No. All of the prints are made with a thin metallic vinyl. Though they are very shiny and just as beautiful!
